Day 2 Epcot
#iumctjrteen hit up #Epcot this afternoon and had so much fun!!
I got to ride Figment (most important part of the day) and even got a little Figment shoulder pet. He's so cute!
Walked around the world, got greeted by quite a few CT families that wished me luck and were so excited for me!
And thennnnnn we spent 2 hours searching for the car in the torrential downpour all for the car to be where we thought in the first place 😂😂
Note to ourselves... Take pictures. Never trust the car key horn 😂😂

Day 3 Registration

Day 3 Worlds Fair Party
World's fair party was absolutely AMAZING. I dressed as a German Pretzel girl.
These parties are so much fun!!
Day 4 Optionals Day
Today I competed in Top Model, Casual Wear, and Talent. talent was AMAZING today!! I'm so proud of myself. I've been secretly working on this for MONTHS. VENTRILOQUISM and singing poor unfortunate souls. thank you to my twin brother and mom for creating this magic for me with the puppets! Thanks mom for coaching me all these months and teaching me what you do best!

Day 4 Pajama Party
omg the @Intlunitedmiss pj party is to die for!! it's probably my favorite of all of the parties because we get to be comfy and have so much fun together!

Day 5 High Fashion Runway
This #iumgirl rocked the stage in high fashion wear today. I did #iumamazing
I put every ounce of energy I had into my routine. Gave the judges my all. And I couldn't be more proud of myself.
I'm not a cookie cutter pageant girl, and I don't care to be. I am MADDI! And I am PROUD! This is my stage, my home, and you're gonna hear me ROAR!!!
Day 5 Queens Gala Party
#queensgala tonight celebrating the #iumamazing outgoing queens.
Had a last minute mid-gala unplanned dress change from my purple gown into this black floral high low, but it still suited the occasion!
Spent time with my #sistersbysash

Day 6 Evening Gown
#warriorwednesday
I believe it's important to go for everything you want in life. Today was a huge test of perseverance for me.
I woke up, really not feeling well. I pushed myself hard today despite that.
during my evening gown, I made a mistake and forgot to circle (oops)... but you know what... I had my moment, and realized that a circle in a gown doesn't define who I am as a queen... But you know what does? The fact that despite how sick I was feeling, I still went up on that stage and gave it my everything.
I learned a valuable lesson today... that EVERYONE makes mistakes, and that a mistake teaches you lessons to NEVER give up on your dreams! Learn from them, and persevere! I got back on stage this evening and ROCKED my on stage introduction. I couldn't be more proud of myself today. THAT is what makes me a queen!!
I share this to hopefully give someone else hope, because I am a leader, ready to become a legendary international title holder.
ALWAYS give it your all. Each and every time. Mistakes don't define you, they create a better version of you.
Day 6 On Stage Introduction
I may have had a not so great start to my competition day, but it didn't stop me! I went on to give the BEST on stage Introduction of my career! I felt amazing, connected with the judges, and was my true, authentic sef!
Day 7 Interview
couldn't be more proud to share what I have to offer to this system. I may not be perfect, but I'm MADDI and I'm so happy I got to share that with the judges.
Day 7 Disney Springs
#iumconnecticut takes on Disney springs!!
Met up with my New England #sistersbysash Amara and Jade (who both KILLED IT this week. I'm so proud to be your big sister queen!)
Amara and I had dinner together at the T Rex cafe.
Jade helped me choose a munchling in World of Disney. And I got my traditional photo in front of the Disney Springs fountain. 😂
I even started conversations with people at the restaurant and In the stores about IUM and why it's so unique in that it's not just about the glitz and glam, it celebrates our perfectly imperfect selves.
What a great evening to end an amazing day of interview!

Day 8 Awards Night
It's time for optional awards at @internationalunitedmiss
I'm so proud of my accomplishments this week. Life threw many curveballs at me. But I couldn't be more excited to be your #iumctjrteen here.
I walked away with the Excelance Award, 2ru International Talent, and 2ru International Top Model. Both are such an honor as my division is ON FIRE!
Day 8 Finale
Unfortunately, I did not take home the crown. It just was not my time. But I am so very proud of where I started and who I became because of this amazing opportunity. I have learned so much about myself over the past 5 months, and I couldn't have worked any harder to get to where I am. Thank you Ms Catherine for such wonderful top model portraits and stage shots! Thank you Ms Brandi Jo Middleton for helping me with interview and Ms Lilly for doing my hair and makeup all week. Thank you to all of those who got me here, and to those who supported me. Thank you to my brother, Tyler, for creating the most amazing talent puppets I could have asked for, and thank you Mom for being my rock, and making sure I could be my very best self, and never allowing me to give up even when things got difficult, and of course Ashlie Steinau Photography for the amazing photogenic images!
Congratulations WA Jr Teen for becoming the next IUM Jr Teen! I can't wait to see what you do with the title!
I have made so many new friends, seen sister queens old and new, and gave it my very best. You won't always be the judges cup of tea, but I am not tea... I am coffee. Strong, determined, and ready for whatever comes next!
